This is what we strive to do every time we play, and in everything we do.  This is what we are all about. We feel fortunate that we are  able to use music to do this.

Who we are...

One of the finest emerging young chamber ensembles, the Neave Trio has been enjoying tremendous international success on concert series and at festivals worldwide. In the USA, the Trio has appeared in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, the 92nd Street Y, Boston’s Jordan Hall, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center/La Jolla Music Society, Fontana Chamber Arts, the American Dvořák Society, Laguna Beach Live!, Rockport Chamber Music Festival (as their “Rising Star” Ensemble), Syracuse Friends of Chamber Music, the Los Angeles Music Guild, the La Jolla Athenaeum, and regularly as soloists with orchestras across the country, perfoming Beethoven’s Triple Concerto. The Trio works regularly with living composers, and gave the World Premiere of "Klee Musings", a new piano trio written for the Neave Trio by acclaimed composer Augusta Read Thomas.

The Neave Trio has been been broadcast on radio stations across the US and abroad, with notable live broadcats on such stations as WGBH Radio (Boston) WXXI and WNYC Radio (New York) and as featured artists on the WQXR Radio (NYC) McGraw-Hill Financial Young Artists Showcase.

Highlights of the season include touring the US, the release of "American Moments", the Neave Trio's first album for the Chandos record label, multiple world premieres of new trios written exoressly for the trio, the recording of a new album of newly arranged works by Piazzolla for trio and voice, the production of their boundary crossing short film "4Seasons", and a residency at Brown University.

"'Neave' is actually a Gaelic name meaning 'bright' and 'radiant', both of which certainly apply to this trio's music making."
